Pardew wants a striker
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has confirmed he's hoping to sign a striker in January. Pardew has emphasised this is the only area he's looking to improve in the January transfer window.

“We are looking for an offensive player,” he said in his post-match press conference as Crystal Palace beat Southampton 2-1 in the FA Cup third round today.

“A striker type player who’s going to contribute to our goal tally which is probably an area we’d like to improve a little bit. That’s the area we’re focusing on.

“We’re chasing one or two, seeing what we can get back, and hopefully before the end of January secure someone.”
